My Story
Since getting his start in 1998, JD the DJ has evolved from playing skating rinks to becoming a staple in the St. Louis music scene. Today, he performs as the opening DJ for St. Louis legendary DJ Kut, well-known for his time at former St. Louis radio station 95.5 FM and the Boogie Nights live broadcast on that station.
Through years of dedication and technical mastery, JD has established himself as one of the region’s most adaptive performers. His resume includes concerts, comedy shows, high-profile clubs, and private events, along with frequent guest spots on local radio.
Deeply committed to the craft, JD also serves as an Assistant Professor at DJ Kut University, mentoring the next generation of talent.

The Legacy
With over 20 years of experience, I’ve played hundreds of weddings and parties across St. Louis and beyond. While I’m proud to train the next generation of talent as an Assistant Professor at DJ Kut University, I am still very much active in the scene today. There is nothing I love more than being behind the turntables at events and keeping your energy high right now.
